How to get to the NMI
The NMI is located in the building of the National Library (KB, Koninklijke Bibliotheek) in The Hague. The KB building is located between Central Station and the Utrechtsebaan. The map shows access routes by foot (red arrows) and by car (black arrows). Several building projects will take place in the vicinity of the KB within the next few years. This may have consequences for access routes. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
By train
On platform 1 (RandstadRail) of Central Station (1) there is an exit leading to the National Archives and the KB main entrance (A).
By car
From Prins Clausplein follow the A12 in the direction of The Hague (Utrechtsebaan). Take exit 2 (P-Centrum).
Visitors: at the traffic lights (2) straight on. The parking lot of the KB is not available for visitors. There is a paid parking zone in the vicinity of the KB.
Suppliers: at the traffic lights (2) straight on; then at the first crossing left (Theresiastraat).
By bike
Bikes can be put away under the main entrance of the KB (5).
