Membership
Everyone is welcome to visit the NMI. The NMI gives access to the musical heritage of the Netherlands. Some services are freely available through this website. With a year pass or a reading room pass you have more options.
The passes issued by the National Library (Koninklijke Bibliotheek) include the facilities of the NMI. The reading room pass is free, the year pass costs € 15. In some cases reduction fees apply.

On application for a year pass personal identification and recent address identification is required. For a reading room pass only personal identification is required.
